

Netone has scrapped off various transaction charges on the one money platform also noting that this will only last up to December 2019.
Netone Chief Executive Officer Lazarus Muchenje recently announed that the organization is ready to relieve the transacting public by introducing the zero transaction fee.
"There will bo no transaction fee on all one money transactions except the statutory two percent card swipe charges " said Muchenje. This means that purches made using the merchant.cpde, cash in and cash out services and airtime purchases are for free.
Some of the transacting public shared different sentiments saying that the move by netone will assist many and they may have the opportunity to increase their market share. However some alluded that the only challenge to the system is inconsistency as they may face competition from other players.

First Lady, Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa is in Accra, Ghana among other delegates attending the Regional Congress on Women Empowerment in the Tourism Sector focusing on Africa.
The congress is aimed at engaging various stakeholders to mainstream a gender perspectives and women's empowerment in tourism policies and strategies as well as speeding up the progress of women empowerment towards the achievements of the SDG's.
Speaking during a briefing in Ghana, Amai Mnangagwa called on women in the tourism sector to be productive as well as to form networks that will benefit them in this industry. She also alluded that the first regional congress on women empowerment, is a unique platform for women in the tourism sector to excel.
The congress runs from the 25TH- 27th of November in Ghana where different players from the tourism industry are in attendance to work towards mainstreaming gender equality and women’s empowerment within policy frameworks as well as to analyze the current challenges and opportunities for women’s empowerment in the tourism sector among other various developed goals.
