Extra $4000 poured into Zifa tourney
A well wisher who preferred to remain anonymous has poured in $4000 in the ongoing Zifa Bulawayo Cup in a move that will see victors of the tournament walking away with $4500.
Zifa Bulawayo chairperson, Allan 'The Ripper' Mpofu said the reason why the sponsor did such a wonderfu

l thing is because he or she is into soccer and they want to see the sport developing and moving forward.
'There is an anonymous donor who just popped in and he is happy with the initiative that we have taken. He threw in $4000 towards this cup and he said next year let us partner and let us grow and let this tournament grow bigger.' Mpofu said.
'We ate actually humbled by the response given by the people towards this tournament. We did not go out there to ask for the sponsorships but people respected the initiative that was taken.' Mpofu added.
The winner of the tournament will now walk away with $4500 while the losing finalist will claim $2000.
Next Level Sports donated $500 for the tournament.
Another sponsor, Body Works Gym has pledged to offer free membership cards to the tournament's top goalscorer and player of the tournament.
In the quarterfinal draw held at the Zifa offices, Bulawayo Chiefs will meet FMSA while Biya and Friends tackle Sabona Mzilikazi, Bhekeni Celtics welcome Khami and Mthwakazi locks horns with Bulawayo City
