Retired professional wrestler Allan “The Ripper” says he hopes to enter the squared circle one more time in hounor of more than a dozen former colleagues who passed on. “The Ripper” who is now known in football circles for running the development of the games from ZIFA Bulawayo Provincial Offices said he is saddened by the passing away of greats like Moon Dog Max Kutsandzira, Paul Badnews Ngozo, Big Robbie Kapora and many others who used to fill in arenas across the country in the 80’s and 1990’s.

“I would like to honour my departed comrades by puting together a massive wrestling show that can tour the country but l won’t do it without the person I believe is the God father of grappling that is Chris Diamond Ncube who trained most of the wrestlers that were on the Zimbabwean scene.

Allan “The Ripper” said the government should also quickly put together a board of control that is pro-development in order to resuscitate a sport that has otherwise disappeared from the scene. -Next Level Sport
