Former Highlanders Techhical manager Hendrikus Pieter De Jongh who recently moved to F.C Platinum has denied reports that link him with the vacant warriors gaffer’s job.

De Jongh who had a fine run with Bulawayo Giants Highlanders last term ,told our reporter that he has a lot on his plate at the Zvishavane money bags and there is no way he can take up added responsibilities with coaching the country’s National team.

“I did not apply for the warriors’s job,I am very happy with F.C Platinum and my mission is to turn the professional status of Pure Platinum play into a success on the field of play “the Dutchman said. Next Level Sports TV also sought comment from F.C Platinum spokesperson Chido Chizondo “No De Jongh did not apply for the post.Revisit how he responded to that question during his unveiling ceremony in Zvishavane weeks ago”Chizondo said. Meanwhile a source within the Zimbabwe Football Association confirmed to Next Level Sports T.V that indeed the Dutchman is among the names of coaches who applied for the warriors job. “Yes he applied for a job I am not sure why he should refuse that he did.”the impeccable source disclosed.
