Tension in the title race for the Castle Larger Premier Soccer League increased at match day 11 as all teams considered as the big five failed to collect maximum points in their respective games.
On Saturday, FC Platinum failed to leapfrog joint leaders Chicken Inn and Caps United in a block buster 'match of the weekend' game against Ngezi Platinum that ended in a stalemate after both teams fired blanks.
Highlanders' desire to register three wins in as many games was short lived as they lost away to Walter Magaya owned , Yadah thanks to a solitary goal from Tafadzwa Makahlera.
Log leaders Chicken Inn suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Harare City despite the Sunshine Boys finishing the match with a man down after striker Jerry Chipangura was shown a second yellow for time wasting.
Even though Caps United went into the break leading by a goal to nil in their match against Herentals at the giant National Sports Stadium, Herentals changed everything in the second and grabbed three goals courtesy of Kevin Bingala, Juan Mutadza and Tafadzwa Chitukutuku to end the match 3-1.
On Sunday, a match between Dynamos and Manica Diamonds ended in a 0-0 stalemate to put more pressure on Dembare who have a date with Bosso at Barbourfields stadium this coming Sunday.
