ZISCA BULAWAYO PROVINCE USHERS IN NEW EXECUTIVE

The Zimbabwe Soccer Coaches Association (Bulawayo) province has held elections to usher in a substantive executive. Former Highlanders and Zimbabwe saints coach Bongani Mafu was elected the new chairman.He heads a team that has former F.C Platinum coach Philani Mabhena as vice ,Morris Mukwiti Secretary General and Kudzai Mhandire as the treasurer. It also has two committee members in form of Joseph Nkomazana and Khala Tshabangu. Meanwhile the Secretary General of Zisca, Oscar Mazhambe who was in attendance heaped praises on the Bulawayo coaches for reviving the local Zisca Chapter. “I am glad and happy that you have taken your time gentlemen, in reviving the province structure. For me to be in the national Executive it is because of the province .Your efforts will never go unnoticed .You are our heroes. “I am ready to work with you and induct you so that you will not step on anyone.”Mazhambe said this while addressing the gathering. The new executive also got sound advice from legendary Zimbabwe Saints Striker Gibson Homela “People should show their passions for football by studying coaching. Courses are there and coaches should take time to attend” the former National team Coach said. Former Highlanders and Railstars coach Barry Daka chipped in by saying. “This is the only station that will look after you. Take time for these activities .I am not going to retire anytime soon, all what I do is out of passion .Do everything out of passion not for money”. The elections were held at a local conference centre in Bulawayo Central Business District.
