Bosso to win the championship in two years: Madeya

Former Highlanders goalkeeper, Nedrick Madeya, believes Highlanders' poor run of form that sees them in an unfamiliar position in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League is a thing that shall come to pass.

In an interview with our reporter, Madeya said a team as big as Bosso will always find its way back to glory days.

'Bosso has the best that one could ask for in soccer, the situation that is there at the moment is one of those things that shall come to pass. Poor run of form is part of soccer, every big team has passed that phase one way or another,' said the goalminder.

'Between the next two years they will win the championship because of what they have gone through the past three years. There is no champion that doesn't go down, Bosso will definitely rise and when they rise, a lot will come their way,' he added.

Madeya, who now plays for ZIFA Southern Region Division One League side Talen Vision also disclosed that his new club eyeing the sole ticket to the elite league next season.

'I am targeting premier league promotion with Talen Vision, we are three points behind log leaders (Bulawayo City) and we have a game in hand and the technical team is brilliant, we also have the best defence because we have conceded only four goals so far,' Madeya added.

The former Street Set FC junior said he is happy at his current club even though he would love to return to Bosso as a player or in the technical department.

'If i play against Bosso, I will play with everything that I have because I hate losing against big teams. Bosso is a big team and any player would wish to play for the club, I would love to go back and if I go back as a player I will fulfill my promise of bringing the PSL title to Barbourfields. However I'm currently very happy with where I am now,' said the 'never give up' spirited goalminder.
