Highlanders football club's 2006 Premier League title triumph holds a special place in Elkanah Dube the club's former Vice Chairman. Our reporter ran into the prominent educationist in the Bulawayo Central business district and he said "You see young man l can't comment much about this year's squad because it's work in progress but lets give them four more games''. Dube loves Highlanders to the core he told Bosso T.V and expressed confidence the club will bounce back one day to claim the title.

"My special Bosso moment was how we won the P.S.L title in 2006 . The League was unbranded but this did not stop our boys from fighting for the title", the former Hillside teachers College Principal said.Dube was part of an executive led by Ernest "Maphepha"Sibanda that were in charge of the trail blazing class of 2006. That Bosso picked maximum points in each of their first 10 games before the winning streak was halted by Motor Action, who forced a goalless stalement on match day 11.

Bosso rolled over the likes of Caps United, Rail Stars, Mwana Africa and Hwange. "The League did not have a sponsor after Econet cancelled their five year deal with the league at the end of 2005. But the fans inspired us to fight for the title, they came in their multitudes and followed us all over the country", Dube added. His parting shot was that Bosso always do well when the family is united- Bosso T.V/ Next Level Sports T.V
