Wild scenes were witnessed across the City of Bulawayo after Highlanders gunned down old enemies Dynamos at Barbourfields Stadium. Black and White clad football fans partied into the night after former Dnamos winger Cleopas Kapupurika capitalised on a mistake by impressive Chazunguza goal minder Simba Chinani.

The winning goal came in the 71st minute when the keeper fumbled a free kick by Highlanders midfielder Brian Banda. Bosso Coach Madinda Ndlovu told the media after the game that “This victory will ease pressure for the next weeks and l am glad that we managed to make our supporters sing”. “The game had so much sentimental value to the Highlanders fans. We were chasing a record in which we had not beaten Dynamos in 10 years and it was important for us to win and keep up the momentum”, the Bosso gaffer added.

Next Level Sports TV drove around the City observing Bosso fans partying at various entertainment joints. The Highlanders club house and the Hlabangana lounge in North End recorded brisk business with fans, former players and journalists mingled and partied into the night.
