Castle Tankard On

The Country's only functioning horse race course, Borrowdale in Harare will host the Castle Tankard tomorrow. It's one of the oldest sponsored horse race tournaments in Southern Africa. It was started in 1959.

A host of events, which will be capped by the draw of $150000.00 Jackpot, have been lined up for the prestigious tournament. A field of 16 runners have confirmed their participation, Stildoph- trained Roman Descent powered to victory in the 2018 Castle Tankard feature race at the Borrowdale race ridden by Matthew Thackerray while shrugging a challenge from a field of ten runners.
