Chipezeze remorseful

The warriors crushed out of the ongoing African Cup of nations after the S goal keeper Elvis Chipezeze gifted the D.R.C with a couple of school boy blunders.

Zimbabwe leave the tournament with only a point in their bag after two losses and a draw. Their four nil loss to the D.R.C becomes the heaviest defeat suffered by any nation at this tournament. Chipezeze was thrown into the fray after first choice goalkeeper George Chigova pulled out of the tie due to a suspected hamstring injury. The warriors third choice gifted the D.R.C barely four minutes into the game after he fluffed a seemingly harmless D.R.C set piece.

Meanwhile Chipezeze tweeted after the match revealing that he is gutted by his horror performance, "Even if people criticize or judge me, l have learned from these incidents. We are human and we make mistakes, but learning from them is what makes the difference, gutted with the performance".
