Cranborne Bullets have extended their unbeaten run in the Zifa Northern Region Division One to 13 games in 13 matches this season after a 2-0 win away over Grain Tigers.

The Nesbert Saruchera coached side will not be giving away their top spot position soon as they have opened the gap against their closest challengers Black Mambas to nine points. They have won 10 games this season so far and they have drawn only three, they sit on position one with 33 points.

Former Premier Soccer League side Black Mambas failed to at least keep up with the table toppers this past weekend after they lost 2-0 in a match against third placed Banket United. United has slashed the gap between them and 'Warumwa Warumwa' as Black Mambas is affectionately known to four points.

Black Mambas have seven wins, three draws as well as three losses so far while Banket's victory took them to five wins, they have five draws as well as three losses.

Karoi United were too good for a Herentals Under 20 side after they defeated the students 2-1 while there was a goalless stalemate between Harare City Cubs and Beta XI.

Under 19s of Ngezi Platinum narrowly lost to PAM and the Platinum miners are in the relegation zone on position 16, they have registered only three wins, three draws and seven defeats.

Cam and Motor and Kariba Waves played to a six goal thriller split 4-2 in favour of the former.
