Dembare Are Back To Business (Manyame)

The victory by Dynamos over defending champions FC Platinum in last week's Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match played at Mandava stadium has resulted to many reactions to soccer lovers across the country.

Dembare beat Norman Mapeza's side 1-0 at Mandava stadium, something that only a few sides have managed to achieve in these last two seasons of FC Platinum's triumphs.Esau Manyame, a soccer analyst from Bulawayo said the victory is a catalyst at boosting the Harare Giants with confidence and Dembare can as well go all the way to lifting the league title come end of the season.'The recent win by Dynamos at Mandava against the champions can be a signal that the Glamour boys are back to serious business. Beating Platinum is no mean feat for Dembare and it means it has what it takes to be counted among the big boys,' he said.

Manyame also said the victory was an honorarium for recently appointed coach Tonderai Ndiraya who has earlier said a stalemate between the two sides was a fair result for the Glamour Boys.'The win came as a bonus to the Dynamos gaffer Tonderai Ndiraya who prior to the match had said a draw for the boys in blue would give his team confidence,' said Manyame.

He added,' Coming from a draw against another Platinum side (Ngezi Platinum) which was fighting for the championship last season, the 1-0 win was a sweet victory for the Glamour Boys. They even surprised themselves by the win, it has catapulted Dembare within a shooting distance in as much as the championship is concerned.The breaking of the Mandava jinx could be a signal of good things to come. We await with great anticipation that the next fixture against Manica Diamonds will produce good results and the good times will start to roll again for Dembare,'

The victory took Dembare to ninth position with 14 points after match day 10, winning four games drawing two and succumbing to four defeats, while the two time defending champions' loss meant they are on number three after recording six victories, two stalemates as well losing two games they have 20 points two adrift of joint leaders Chicken Inn and Caps United.
