Southern Region Division One League side Talen Vision's joint top goalscorer, Brian Muza has distanced himself from being close to signing a deal with Highlanders.

This comes after circulations on social media that the 22 year old winger had attracted the Bulawayo giants and the team was close to signing him.

'About Bosso, I have been hearing people talking but personally to me I have not heard anything from the team. No one has spoken to me about a potential move to the team. Honestly I hear people telling me that Highlanders wants to sign me and so forth,' Muza said.

Muza is a joint top goalscorer together with Adonice Nyoni in Talen Vision, the duo has four goals apiece for the log leaders.

Muza started playing soccer for FC Maranda, a Beitbridge based division two side while he was still at school in 2014. He moved to Bulawayo in 2016 and then joined Casymyn where he had a two year stint with the club.

Last year, Muza joined CIWU Football Club where he spent half of the season and moved to Mkhuphali Masuku's Talen Vision for the remainder of the 2018 season up until now.

'I think Cooper (Masuku) is the best coach I have ever met in my career. He is a great teacher and he boost our confidence. As long as he is still at Talen Vision, I think no one can stop us from playing in the premier league next season,' the 22 year old added.

The Southern Region League is currently on a season break. Vision is on the summit of the log standings. They have never tasted defeat this season having conceded only five goals in their 14 games so far.

However they face a very tough challenge in Bulawayo City who are on 29 points, one adrift Talen Vision, City is also on a scoring spree having recorded 26 goals in their 14 games.
