INDEPENDENCE CUP POSTPONED

The Southern region Five aside Independence cup final will now be played on the fifth of May 2019 after organisers failed to back the Bulawayo football for hope centre.

According to Philani Banda the Chairperson of the league the owners of the world class five aside stadium that is situated in Gwabalanda have raised renting fees to levels that clubs in the spat of five aside could not afford.

“We are trying to negotiate with the custodians of the Football for hope centre, but as for now we will be forced to move the final to another venue,” Banda told our reporter Brenda Zinyuke.

The league is sponsored by a company called Mining supplies and has about a dozen teams affiliated to it.
