Gwaendepi steals the show By Mbekezeli Ncube Greenfuel midfielder, Ackim Gwaendepi has managed to make a name for himself in the Zifa Eastern Region league. The former Indlovu Iyanyathela midfielder has been pulling strings for Greenfuel since his return to  the Chisumbanje based outfit. He put up a stellar show in this past weekend goalless encounter against Ruwa Progroup. A follower of the Eastern Region league said this about the midfielder. 'Gwaendepi was on fire this weekend and with a bit of luck, he could have stolen a goal for the team. The player has all the makings of a premier league midfielder" The league concluded its matchday this past weekend and a stalemate for Greenfuel left the team on position 10 with three wins five draws as well as five losses. Their opponents have also recorded the same number of statistics, however Green fuel is two positions up due to goal difference. Log leaders Buffaloes stretched their status of not tasting defeat this season after narrowly winning 1-0 to eight placed Chiredzi. Masvingo United and Surrey also played to a goalless stalemate. Former Premier League outfit, Mutare City were too good for Chipinge as they beat the relegation threatened side 2-0. Second placed Tenax dropped tasted deafeat for the first time this season as they were beaten by a solitary goal to nil by Grayham.
