Lady Chevrons make it to the final

The National Women’s cricket side, the Lady Chevrons thumped Rwanda by 82 runs at Old Hararians to set up a date with Namibia in the final to be played on Sunday.

A win on Sunday will hand the National ladies cricket team the sole ticket from Africa to the World qualifiers. The Lady Chevrons have so far defeated the trio of Tanzania, Mozambique and Rwanda. They are yet to take on Nigeria in a dad rubber set for tomorrow. Zimbabwe were inspired to victory over Rwanda by wicket Keeper-batter’s 62 runs as they only lost two wickets.
