Mkabayi and Tsano meet Bosso

After their victory over Dynamos in their last encounter of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, Highlanders will be traveling to Mhondoro full of confidence to lock horns with last season's league runner ups Ngezi Platinum. The match will be played at Baobab Stadium on Saturday.

The two teams' rivalry dates back to 2016 when Ngezi Platinum were promoted to the elite league. Most of their duels have produced thrilling outcomes.

The two teams have met four time in the league with both teams winning two. What is more interesting in this encounter is that there has never been a stalemate.

Twelve goals are shared between the two teams with the Bulawayo based Highlanders grabbing seven of them while the Zimplats sponsored club has five.

This will be the first match for Highlanders since the departure of Madinda Khathazile Ndlovu to Botswana based outfit Gaborone United.

It will be the first time that 'Madamburo' coach Erol Ekbay and trusted Lieutenant Cosmas 'Tsano' Zulu will be facing off with their former paymasters, Highlanders. Ekbay and Tsano were part of Highlanders' technical team for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
