Mpopoma clinch Copa cocacola tourney

It was 'sweet revenge' when Mpopoma High School girls clinched their first ever Copa Coca-Cola title after beating last year's champions Nyamahuru on Friday.
Mpopoma found themselves in the final after they were too good for Nkankezi in a 2-0 victory courtesy of a brace from Thando Sibanda.
'Winning is always good, we really enjoyed the win especially after beating the very same team that beat us last season as we finished runners up,' said James Rugwevere, Mpopoma's sports director.
Mpopoma are proving to be one of the top dogs in the competition, they have clinched thea Provincial title in three consecutive years.
In their build up to the final, Mpopoma thrashed hosts Jameson High 21-0 and drew 1-1 with Dzivarasekwa in their group before hammering Rimuka 2-0 in the quater finals and a victory Nkankazi in the semis.
Meanwhile, the Mpopoma boys team finished third in the competition and they settled for a bronze medal.
