Even though it's probably to early to talk about hanging gloves and boots for now, Highlanders first choice shot stopper Ariel Sibanda has shed some light on where he will want to end his glittering football career and that place is none other than his current team Bosso.

The Bosso goal minder is the longest serving member of the current Bosso squad, last year he extended his contract with the club towards the end of the season, a contract that Highlanders fans and other soccer lovers see him call Barbourfields home until 2021. He said even though he would love to play for other teams abroad if given a chance, his wish is to come back and retire at the Bulawayo based side.

'My wish is to go and play for a team or teams in Europe and explore new places and other people's cultures for sometime if given a chance then come back home to retire at Bosso because Bosso is my home,' said Sibanda.

Sibanda has been one of the pillars of strength in the Bosso squad since he joined the Highlanders family a decade ago. The 30 year old goal minder has won the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League goalkeeper of the year two times with Bosso, he is well known for saving and taking penalties. He has scored two penalties and saved as many in the first 10 games of the season. His latest golden glove award was last season for his outstanding performance.

He conceded 19 goals, kept 12 clean sheets as the Bulawayo giants finished the league in position five. So far this season he has six clean sheets and 2 goals under his name.

Sibanda has been under the management of six different coaches ever since joining Bosso with Mohammed Fathi from Egypt, Mkuphali 'Cooper' Masuku, Zambian national Kelvin Kaindu, Bongani Mafu, Ngezi Platinum's Erol Ekbay and currently Madinda Ndlovu.

Mdawini has won several silverwares domestically with Tshilamoya, including the Zimbabwe National Army Charity Shield and the Mbada Diamonds cup among others. The only trophy he is yet to lift is the PSL which was last clinched by the Bulawayo giants back in 2006 and Sibanda confirmed that the wants to put his hands in the most important cup in the land.
