Pool tourney on

The Bulawayo Provincial Pool Association (BPPA) cup roars into life this Saturday with 48 clubs having registered to compete at this year's events.

According to the BPPA's spokesperson Farai Nyandoro the first round will be held across 12 venues in the city.

'12 venues will play hosts to first round matches whith 24 clubs expected to go through to the next round along side eight best placed runners ups,'

Nyandoro added that

'This year's event will see the introduction of powerplay substitutions. Powerplay subs can be introduced even when a frame has started,'

The pick of the weekend appears to be in the match pitting masters against Golden Lions. Another mouth watering clash is the Skittle Inn versus Ace Lounge,
