Following a two week break, the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League continues this weekend with a full program of matches. The league had taken a break following the national team's involvement in the Africa Cup of Nations currently underway in Egypt.

On Saturday, relegation threatened Walter Magaya funded, Yadah are welcome fourth placed Black Rhinos. Yadah are on position 16 and they are one of the teams who have shown a poverty in defence so far, they have conceded 17 goals in 12 matches and only scoring 10. They have won three, drawn three and lost six. Chipembere have found the net 14 times in their six wins. The soldiers have conceded 11 goals , they also have four draws and two losses.

Former champions Chicken Inn will travel to Zvishavane to face current Champions and log leaders FC Platinum in what is considered as the battle of the top spot. Both teams have seven wins so far and only one point separates the two sides.

After their victory over Dynamos in their last encounter, Highlanders will be traveling to Ngezi full of confidence to lock horns with Ngezi Platinum. The hosts will be under pressure to win considering how much their sponsor ZimPlats has invested in the Mhondoro based outfit but results continue to elude it. It will be the first time that 'Madamburo' coach Erol Ekbay and trusted Lieutenant Cosmas 'Tsano' Zulu will be facing off with their former paymasters, Highlanders.

Tenth placed Herentals face 11th placed Triangle United in Harare, both clubs are level on 15 points apiece, however Herentals is above the 'Sugar Sugar' boys due to a superior goal difference.

Caps United will be looking forward to claiming top spot come Saturday as they travel to Mashonaland West to face ZPC Kariba. Kepekepe are the highest scoring team so far as 23 of their shots have found the back of the net, they have an average of at least two goals a game, however they have conceded 15 goals.

On Sunday, Harare City are away to Gweru based outfit TelOne, TelOne while Hwange welcome Bulawayo Chiefs at the Colliery and twelfth placed Dynamos will play hosts to fifth placed Chapungu.
