Sables kick off Victoria Cup with win

The Zimbabwe Sables opened their Victoria Cup campaign with a convincing 39-10 victory over Zmbia in front of a packed Machinery Exchange Stadium at Harare Sports Club in the capital on Sturday.
Fielding a total of nine debutants, the Sables proved too strong for their northern neighbours thrashing the Zambians 39-10.
The Zimbabweans dominated the match with six tries to Zambia's one in a competition that also features Kenya and Uganda. Zimbabwe led 15 3 at the break.
The Sables finished the match with 14 men after lock Godwin Mangenje was shown a red card for a high tackle on a Zambian player.
