Soccer analyst and die hard Highlanders fan, Ndaba Ngwenya has applauded newly appointed coach, Mandla 'Lulu' Ngwenya for managing to grab a point away to Ngezi Platinum at Baobab last weekend.
Bosso and Ngezi settled for a 1-1 stalemate in a pulsating match. It was Tshilamoya's first match after the departure of Madinda Ndlovu as well as Erol Ekbay's first clash with Bosso since parting ways with the team two seasons ago.
'Lulu picked a point at Baobab and that he was playing against Ekbay who knew Highlanders in an out, it is something that must be applauded. But on the other hand the team went to Baobab hoping to get maximum points,' Ngwenya said.
Bosso was dealt an early blow as defender Andrew Mbeba was sent off for a rough challenge on an opponent after only 8 minutes into the encounter.
Defender Peter Muduhwa scored a 70th minute goal to send 10 men Highlanders into the lead before Ngezi's Osi Miniru equalised for the hosts nine minutes later.
Before taking reigns at Bosso, Mpofu had stints with Bantu Rovers, Shabanie Mine, Chicken Inn and Railstars and he has been Madinda Ndlovu's assistant together with Bekithemba Ndlovu prior to his appointment as technical manager.
Bosso now focus to table toppers and defending champions FC Platinum, a Norman Mapeza's side that has proven to be a hard nut to crack for Bosso.
