By Seth Mangena Southern Region Division One Outfit Talen Vision hosted their Annual Awards Ceremony at Gifford Boys High School. London Zulu, the F.C Talen Vision goalkeeper was awarded the player of the year award. “He had an outstanding season. He kept sixteen clean sheets “said Lovemore Dube the team’s spokesperson in an interview with Next Level Sports TV on the side-lines of the awards ceremony. Striker Grey Kufandada was rewarded with the top goal scorer of the year prize for his fifteen goals. . Midfielder Adonis Nyoni received the most disciplined player award, while central defender Itai Mabhunu scooped the most consistent player of the year award. Mthulisi Sibanda who had nineteen assists was awarded with the President’s award. “He is the core figure of our creativity hub”, said Dube the former Chronicle Sports Editor who now leads the information disseminating department of the team. Brian Muza scooped the players; player of the year award .He scored fourteen goals this season. Another highlight of yesterday’s event was the distribution of stationery and school fees to players turning out for the junior teams .The event was graced by Z.I.F.A officials and football legends and administrators .Among these was former warriors striker Agent “Ajira” Sawu and former Kaizer Chiefs and Zimbabwe Saints player Ebson “Sugar” Muguyo.
