Move seen as a way to avoid having two franchises in one division

Newly promoted Zifa Central Division side Talen Vision has changed its name to Trukumb Mining F.C according to the club’s acting spokesperson Juma Phiri.

The team takes its name from the parent sponsor of Talen Vision, Trukumb Mining.

Phiri also told Next Level Sports T.V that 65 year old Slovakian national Miroslav Nemec will be in-charge of the team’s technical bench and will be deputized by Makhosi Mbeba.

Veteran, former Highlanders and Hwange goalkeeper Johannes Tshuma will be in-charge of goal minders, former Highlanders and Talen Vision mid-fielder Heritein Masuku is the kit manager with Bongani Langa as the club’s manager and Harold Mapiko coming in as the team’s medic.

Meanwhile the club’s Zifa Southern region franchise, Talen Vision has made a number of changes in their technical setup.

Former Highlanders player and Coach Mkhuphali “Mr Cooper has been elevated to the post of Technical Director, with former Harare City F.C coach Mark Mathe taking over as the head coach .

He will be deputized by Xolani Nkundlande and Andrew Sidambe who will also be goalkeepers coach.
