Tshuma ready for Featherweight fight

Lobengula Boxing Club Super Bantam Weight boxer Wiseman Tshuma goes into his fifth professional fight on Friday when he takes on Jeremiah Mhere for the Featherweight Title in Harare.

The pint-sized prize fighter who is still undefeated after four professional fights will look to extend his 100 percent record against Mhere whom he praised and labeled as an upright boxer.

'He is a very good boxer and he has a good record in both amateur and professional but I have been training very hard lately and I am ready for the fight,' said Tshuma who is managed and coached by prominent businessman Emmanuel Dube.

Tshuma started playing boxing since 2010 and he said he started loving the sport since his childhood stage. As an amateur, he participated provincially, nationally and even internationally. In 2017, he was the best boxer in Super Bantamweight and since then he has never lost a fight in four games.

'I loved the game since the early stages of my life and fortunately, I got the chance to be trained at Lobengula Training Centre when I was 15 years old. I'm really working hard on my boxing career and I expect good results every time I enter the ring. I also give a big thanks to my coach (Dube) who is also my manager and makes everything possible me,' he added.

Organisers of the occassion include Elevate, Liquid Telecom, Vaya, FedEx, ZOL, VIP among others.

The match will be played among many other at Harare Show Grounds, $95 is admission fee for those who want to watch the match by the ringside. generally, it's free. The event is organised by Friday Fight Nights.
