US Basketball team in Zimbabwe

A United States College basketball team from Wheaton in Illinois will be visiting the country to take on the national team and two clubs. Wheaton College will be in the country as part of a tour that was organised by a sports promotion organisation called Athletes in action.

The visiting college circuit side will take on Zimbabwe's mens national team, Harare City Hornets and another Harare club, Foxes. The matches will take place from the 17th to the 18th of May in Harare and from the 20th of May to the 21st of the same month in Bulawayo.

Wheaton College are using the tour to Zimbabwe as part of their 2019-2020 season preparations. They play in the same division as colleges like Lake Forest, RIPON, Millki, Calvin and many others. they use the moniker the "Thunder".
