Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe will tussle it out in the revived Rugby Africa Victoria cup after the cancellation of the Kwese Sports Rugby Gold Cup. According to the Zimbabwe rugby union facebook page the squad to be used by Coach Brendan Dawson will consist of players from the Zimbabwe rugby academy and members of the Old Sables. Performances from the academy and Sables are part of the Z.R.U's long term goal of making it into the 2023 World cup- a return to the Victoria cup will mean that this will have the Zimbabwe National team taking part in 13 senior competitive matches in one calendar year.
