Vision 2024 for Handball

The Zimbabwe Handball Federation has unveiled its long term development goals under a vision called "VISION 2024."

The Zimbabwe Handball Federations (ZHF) Secretary General Edson Chirowodza told Next Level Sports TV that ZHF objectives and target include qualifying national teams to the Olympic games and the Junior Championships .

The ZHF's ambitious project has already started with Swiss expatriate coach Rolf Haussener training a number of players for the two forthcoming international campaigns.

"On the 20th of July we are hosting a Zim-Swiss Ambassador trophy which is a tri-nations tournament and we have invited Zambia and Mozambique. This tournament aims at assessing the level of play of the Junior team against other teams, " said Chirowodza.

Chirowodza also revealed that Zimbabwes Vision 2024 has been getting financial and material support from the embassy of Switzerland.
