I used to think being ME was a curse, the chores at home, long skirts, “duku” on my head and at times that 20 litre bucket on my head each time I paid my Granny a visit at the rurals.That was then!
I have come to terms with being ME.I have new definitions of ME and yes a few other things to complement and complete a ME that I so desire.
Hear me now…
She walks confidently in her black suit, her high heeled black block heels, her black handbag, the black lipstick she wears everyday defines her. A true African and black woman who has a bright future behind her. Her black Brabus G950 that she parks everyday on the reserved parking space just a few metres away from her office about 4 floors high speaks of the strength that she possesses.
Her front view is so magnificent, God’s own true creation!
Gone are the days when a woman was that one weak creature, the specie that was taken granted for. One that man would say jump and she responded how high?
We now talk of ,The Lady Chevrons,The Gems, the Caster Semenyas, and the Nomsa “Boys” Moyo of today-our very own Zimbabwean sport jewels
It’s about time we gave women what is rightfully theirs-a place in society, a voice to be heard, a platform to stand tall and firm.
ITS ABOUT TIME!!!
