Warriors hope to pick themselves up against the Cranes

The Warriors face Uganda on Wednesday evening in a crucial group A encounter at the Cairo International Stadium.
Zimbabwe who lost against Egypt will need at least a point to remain in condition for a knock out stage qualification spot. The Cranes of Uganda who dismissed the Democratic Republic of Congo two nil need a win to confirm their progression to the next round.
This will be the maiden game between Uganda and Zimbabwe in the Africa Cup of Nations. Uganda have won just two of their 15 games against Zimbabwe in all competitions, drawing eight and losing five.
The Cranes have won four of their last nine games in the Africa Cup of Nations, drawing one and losing four. After winning none of their first 11 in the competition, one draw and 10 losses.
Zimbabwe have won only two of their 10 games in Afcon, with one draw and seven losses, failing to keep a clean sheet in any of these 10 games.
Farouk Miya has been involved in Uganda's last three goals in the competition with one goal and two assists.
