Warriors Provisional Squad named

The warriors technical team has announced a thirty four member squad for the forth coming COSAFA Cup finals to be held this year in South Africa and Egypt respectively.


The list features four goalkeepers who are George Chigova(Polokwane City) Edmore Sibanda(Witbank Spurs), Elvis Chipezeze(Baroka) and Talbert Shumba of Chapungu. Nine players made it on the defenders list and these include Tendai Darikwa(Nottingham Forest), Ronald Pfumbidzai(Bloem Celtic), Divine Lunga (Golden Arrows), Teenage Hadebe(Kaizer Chiefs), Alec Mudimu (CEFN Druids), Byron Madzokere (Yadah Stars), Jimmy Dzingai (Power Dynamos),

Lawrence Mhlanga (F.C Platinum), Dennis Dauda (Lusaka Dynamos).Fifteen midfielders have been called up and these are Ovidy Karuru (Amazulu), Rodwell Chingetere (Baroka), Thabani Kamusoko (Young Africans), Leeroy Mavunga (Yadah), Talent Chawapiwa (Amazulu), Butholezwe Ncube (Amazulu), Marshall Munetsi (Orlando Pirates), Marvellous Nakamba (Club Bruggekv), Tafadzwa Kutinyu(Amazulu), Kuda Mahachi (Orlando Pirates), Tafadzwa Rusike (Zanaco), Richard Hachiro (Herentials), Kamusoko (Young Africans).


Coach Sunday Chidzambwa has called up six strikers who are Nyasha Mushekwi (Dalian Xifang), Evans Rusike (Supersport), Walter Musona( Polokwane), Tinotenda Kadewere (Le Havre), Knox Mtizwa (Golden Arrows) and Admiral Muskwe of Leicester City.
