PSL weekend review.
There were losses for Highlander, Caps and Black Rhinos while Chicken Inn and Dynamos shared the spoils in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match day 20 clashes played around the country this past weekend.
On Saturday, Darling Dodo's tenure as Caps United coach kick started on a disappointing note as his side were humiliated by airmen Chapungu. Kepekepe were thrushed 4-2 by the Gweru based side. A brace by veteran Philip Marufu and solitary goals by Gracious Muleya and Ian Nyoni made the airmen's first game at their preferred home sweet.
Former Highlanders striker Newman Sianchali and Clive Rupiya for the Green Machine were not enough to secure them even a single point.
Relegation threatened Bulawayo Chiefs shocked title contenders Black Rhinos by a solitary goal to nil.
On Sunday, Chitembwe's dominance over Mandla 'Lulu' Mpofu continued as the two coaches met for the second time in one week. Chitembwe's Harare City beat Mpofu's Highlanders 1-0 at Barboufields stadium on Sunday.
Jerry Chipangura scored the solitary goal in the 20th minute when Bosso leftback Mbongeni Ndlovu left William Manondo unattended, exposing centre back Tendai Ndlovu, who was beaten for pace before the ball was crossed to Chipangura for an easy tap in.
Dynamos and Chicken Inn played to a one all draw. The Glamour Boys went into the match without losing in the last seven matches and that unbeaten run was stretched to eight.
Twenty-nine minutes into the encounter Dembare took the lead courtesy of rookie striker Nigel Katawa who headed home off a corner kick by Tinotenda Muringai.
In the 78th minute it was all level when Valentine Kadonzvo struck the ball into the net from a wonderful delivery by second half substitute Sipho Ndlovu.

Chapungu 4-2 Caps United
