Zimbabwe Hockey team seeks sponsorship

The Zimbabwe National men's hockey is seeking sponsorship ahead of the hockey Africa Olympics qualifiers to be be held from the 12th to the 18th of August in Cape Town, South Africa.
The tournament will see Zimbabwe taking on giants and hosts South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Namibia, Ghana, Uganda and Egypt for them to grab a ticket to the Olympics (Tokyo 2020) for the first time in their history.
According to National Men's Hockey manager, Kalpesh Parshotam, the total cost for the team is R 340 000.
'We are appealing to the corporate sector and other well wishers to assist the team with covering the expenses to successfully make this tour and represent Zimbabwe. Our appeal is for organisations to sponsor in any amount that they can afford,' Parshotam said.
Parshotam said the team is expected to arrive in Cape Town, South Africa on 10 August for the preparations of these games, the funds with cater for accommodation, travel, meals, medical insurance as well as playing kits.
